Return Policy
MidWest Micro Return Policy
At MidWest Micro, we pride ourselves on delivering top-quality products. In the
unlikely event that a product should prove defective or not meet your expectations,
we ask that you use the following return guidelines. Our goal is to make doing
business with MidWest Micro as easy as possible. MidWest Micro does NOT guarantee
product compatibility of items purchased separate from the PC configuration.
I. Basic Return Guidelines
All returns must have a seven-digit Return Authorization number that is valid for
15 days from its issuance. To receive a Return Authorization number, call MidWest
Micro's Technical Support line and have the following information ready: (1) Your
customer number, (2) Order number, (3) Product serial number and (4) Nature of
problem. See Return Shipping Instructions below.
II. Return Guidelines for MidWest Micro Computer Systems
All MidWest Micro Desktop PCs ship with the 5/3 Year Warranty & Support which
includes a 5 year warranty on the CPU and RAM, 3 year limited warranty on parts
and labor and a 30 day money-back guarantee. See

III. Return Guidelines for Defective Products
Defective product, except as listed below (A - D), may be returned within 30 days
from your original date of invoice. The product may be returned for credit, repair
or replacement at the discretion of MidWest Micro. Items must be 100% complete
including original packaging materials, manuals and other accessories provided by
the manufacturer. Incomplete returns will be subject to an incomplete return fee.
All returns may be subject to a restock fee of up to 20% of the selling price.
Beyond 30 days from the date of original invoice, please refer to the original
manufacturer.
- Brand Name Notebooks, Servers and Computer Systems (e.g., Acer,
AST, Fujitsu, Hewlett-Packard, Toshiba) may be returned for repair
or replacement only.
- IBM Notebooks, Servers and Computer Systems: Due to
manufacturer's policies, all issues concerning defective IBM products
must be directed to the IBM Help Center at (800) 772-2227.
- Software may be replaced with the same title only.
- Printers that have had toner or ink cartridges installed may be
returned for replacement only. Please refer to the Owner's Manual of your
printer for instructions on how to package it for return to MidWest Micro.
Additional return fees may be applied if these instructions are not followed
or if the printer is returned to MidWest Micro with the toner or ink cartridge
still installed.
IV. 30 Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it within
30 days of the original date of invoice for a refund (returns may be subject to a
restock fee of up to 20% of the selling price). Some products may not be eligible
for return under this Guarantee, please see A - E below. Items must be in resalable
condition and 100% complete, including original packaging materials, manuals and
other accessories provided by the manufacturer. Incomplete returns will be subject
to an incomplete return fee. Some restrictions may apply.
- Brand Name Notebooks, Servers and Computer Systems (e.g., Acer, AST,
Fujitsu, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Toshiba): Due to manufacturers' policies,
these products are not returnable under the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. Please
contact the original manufacturer for information.
- Software may be returned if unopened and the shrink-wrap is still intact.
- Printers may be returned if the toner or ink cartridge has not been installed.
- Special Orders and Books may not be returned under the 30 Day Money Back Guarantee.
- Demo, Closeout and Reconditioned Product may only be returned for credit
up to 15 days after the original invoice date. Credit may be applied to future purchases
only. No refunds will be given on demo, closeout or reconditioned products.
V. Incorrectly Shipped Product
If you receive a product different from the one you ordered, please contact MidWest Micro
immediately. The incorrectly shipped product will be replaced with the correct item, but
must be received by MidWest Micro within 15 days of the original invoice date. Returned
product must be complete and in resalable condition.
VI. Return Shipping Instructions
Product may be returned for credit, repair, or replacement at the discretion of
MidWest Micro. Items must be 100% complete including original packaging materials,
manuals, and other accessories provided by the manufacturer. Incomplete returns may be
subject to an incomplete return fee.
- The Return Authorization number must be clearly written on a mailing label
and placed on the original packaging.

Failure to follow these return procedures may result in credit refusal. Rejected
merchandise will be returned to the customer at the customer's expense.
