SYMPTOMS
The Prassi CD Right! software unable to detect the CD Recordable/Rewriteable drive as a recordable and/or rewriteable device.

CAUSE
Incorrect version of the Prassi CD Right! software.

RESOLUTION
Download an updated version of the Prassi CD Right! software directly from Sony's web site at http://www.it a.sel.sony.com/support/storage/software_2.html.

NOTE: You must have a complete version of the Prassi CD Right! software installed (typically version 1.1). The downloaded software will only be an upgrade to your current version.
