SYMPTOMS
One or more of the following error messages appears when
Microsoft® Encarta 99 is started:
- The file EEUIL12.DLL is linked to missing export file MFC42.DLL.
- The file MSVCP60.DLL is linked to missing export file MSVCRT.DLL.
- The file SHRL11.DLL is linked to missing export file MFC42.DLL.
These errors may also appear when starting Virtual Globe 99 or other programs.
CAUSE
One of the above mentioned files is either missing or damaged, or the wrong
version is installed.
RESOLUTION
Encarta 99 (or the program creating the error) needs to be removed from the PC
and then reinstalled. Restart your computer after removing the program and
before it is reinstalled.
