SYMPTOMS
Speakers may not power up, although the speaker has all cables connected

CAUSE
Power adapters may be connected incorrectly

RESOLUTION
The Advent AV009 satellite speaker uses a 9VDC power supply (adapter) and the AV009SUB subwoofer speaker uses a 15VAC power supply (adapter). Both power supplies have the same connector and can be connected with the incorrect speaker. If the speakers do not work, double check that the 15VAC power supply is connected to the subwoofer, and that the 9VDC power supply is connected to the satellite speakers. One power supply does have "Satellite" printed on it, but this can be overlooked.
