PC Component Upgrades And Repairs

MidWest Micro wants you to enjoy your PC now and well into the future. That�s why we offer a convenient upgrade service, perfect for those of you who want to enhance your PC�s performance, but don�t have the time or aren�t sure where to begin. And if a component on your older PC needs repaired, we�ll be happy to help you with that, too. After all, out-of-warranty shouldn�t mean "out of luck."

With every MidWest Micro PC component upgrade or repair, our technical team will:

  • Perform a rigorous series of diagnostics tests to detect every problem
  • Configure and set-up all the installed or replaced hardware (including drivers)
  • Test the component�s performance after all upgrades or repairs are completed
  • Fully inspect the PC to ensure it meets all quality standards
  • Conduct an intense burn-in procedure to ensure high-quality performance


Upgrades
If you�re interested in upgrading a component on your MidWest Micro PC, call our Technical Support line at (800) 262-6622, and ask our friendly representatives about our upgrade service.

The labor charges for each upgraded component are:

Cache, Ethernet Card, I/O Card, Modem, SIMM Module, Sound Card: $20
CD-ROM, Hard Drive, Tape Back-up: $30
Motherboard: $75

Note: Please call for pricing on items not listed.

In addition to labor charges, you will also be billed for each component and shipping costs.


Repairs
If a component on your out-of-warranty MidWest Micro PC needs repaired, please call our Technical Support line at (800) 262-6622, and request a Return Authorization number. A non-refundable, minimum diagnostic fee of $60 will be charged for all out-of-warranty PC repairs. (The diagnostic fee for motherboard repairs is $75.) The fee will be applied toward a $75 labor charge, the cost of replaced parts and any additional shipping charges that may apply.

If you cancel the repair request, the PC will be returned "as is," and you will be billed for the diagnostic fee and return shipping costs.
